| I was born on this day 22 years ago
Even though I came crying out of my mother's womb,
I was born dead.
My mom gave birth to a dead baby girl.
That image and thought is real- it makes my heart feel cold and shiver.
I was born again about 4 years ago.
It's true- death can be brought to life.
That day my heart burned- not a painful burn- but it was a refreshing, pleasant burn.
Even in the second birth, I came out crying.
I have new eyes, mind, and heart.
How?
God sent His Son
They called Him Jesus
He came to love, heal, and forgive
He bled and died, to buy my pardon
An empty grave is there to prove my Savior lives.
Because He lives, I can face tomorrow
Because He lives, all fear is gone
Because I know, He holds the future
And life is worth the living
Just because He lives
Because Jesus came from heaven to earth..
Because He lived to live the perfect, sinless life I should have lived..
Because He died on the cross and took the punishment for my sin..
Because He rose- conquered sin and death-
Because He lives- I live!
And life is worth the living
Just because He lives
And then one day, I'll cross that old river
I'll fight life's final war with pain
And then as death gives way to victory
I'll see the lights of glory
And I'll know He reigns.

| I feel the weight of my own sin-
Sin that cannot be overlooked
It is because of my sin Jesus died...
what is more heavy?
It is His grace that is bigger
It is His love that is more powerful
The cross of love that cannot be lifted off me-
That cannot be separated
Love overcame sin.
"No one has ever seen God;
If we love one another, God abides in us and His love is perfected in us." 1 John 4:12
Love is not conjured up from within-
To love with my own power is impossible
Love came and comes from above
so
To truly, truly, truly love is a witness of my Savior's loving existence
Oh, what an honor and privilege to know Love and to love! | | |

Amazing grace- how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost, but now i'm found
Was blind but now i see
my soul was dead, my soul was dead
but now lives

Because my soul is Yours, Yours, Yours-
my soul was made in You

was made for You
to remember
it will be made complete
bearing Your image- Your glory
Jesus Christ
Only because of Your grace and Spirit- am i able to know you- thinking with not only my mind, but with my heart of your cross

You never cease to show me Your love-
it is increasing with glory and mystery
who am i that you are so mindful of me?

| Your grace abounding
Your mercies are new every morning
Your love endures forever
What do i see?
How can i see?
When can i know again that my faith is not false- not my own-
but is from you- true before You, Holy Triune God?
i am not the judge of my soul-
i tremble as i meditate on Your holiness- Your righteousness- Your perfections- Your glory
Then i cry out:
"LORD- move in me-
See this heart-
was once a seething furnace of You- Your love
take a look again
is the inside now an ember?"
i cry as i see my worthlessness-
Apart from You- the cross- its work- salvation-
my heart cries harder
each day
Seek! Seek and know God- my God!
Creator of the Universe! Saviour! Messiah! Helper! Deliverer!
"Take heart"- Know God! The gospel- His power!
Don't be a fool and deny the infinite, all-knowing, omnipotent- God of Love!
Turn away- turn away- turn away from yourself!
Stop indulging in your guilt, shame, sorrows, comforts, wisdom- your selfish, prideful sins!
Look to the cross- its work- its message
Forgiveness-
There is no more condemnation in Christ!
It is done- Death to death- ransom paid- finished- though you knew or know nothing!
Resurrection- reconciliation
Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom!
New life- justified- slave to righteousness- sanctification
Father, Son, Holy Spirit
His will
Mysteriously- graciously- transforming me from glory to increasing glory
the glory of God- in the face of Christ
Joy- delight- joy- delight-
even in my suffering
because of His suffering
Joy- delight- joy- delight-
grace become my motivation
cross become my core- my center
Holy Spirit- my God- complete freedom and redemption in Truth
for what?
For unconditional Love that opposes everything satan, the world, sinners believe and follow-
To shine light into darkness
amazing grace
Love from God of heavens- reaches down to us-
To be continual- eternal-
Carry the cross-
by Holy Spirit's power-
His Love endures forever
Now- we live in the kingdom of grace-
Later- we shall live in the kingdom of glory
Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
"Take Heart"

| The more I experience the gospel, the more there develops within me a yearning affection for my fellow-Christians who are also participating in the glories of the gospel. This affection for them comes loaded with confidence in the continued spiritual growth and ultimate glorification, and it becomes my pleasure to express to them this loving confidence regarding the ongoing work of God in their lives.
(Philippians 1:3-7
I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now. And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ. It is right for me to feel this way about you all, because I hold you in my heart, for you are all partakers with me of grace, both in my imprisonment and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel.)
Additionally, with the gospel proving itself to be such a boon in my own life, I realize that the greatest gift I can give to my fellow-Christians is the gospel itself. Indeed, I love my fellow-Christians not simply because of the gospel, but I love them best when I am loving them with the gospel!
(1 Thessalonians 2:8
Having so fond an affection for you, we were well-pleased to impart to you not only the gospel of God but also our own lives, because you had become very dear to us.)
And I do this not merely by speaking gospel words to them, but also by living before them and generously relating to them in a gospel manner. Imparting my life to them in this way, I thereby contribute to their experience of the power, the Spirit, and the full assurance of the gospel.

because our gospel came to you not only in word, but also in power and in the Holy Spirit and with full conviction. You know what kind of men we proved to be among you for your sake.)
By preaching the gospel to myself each day, I nurture the bond that unites me with my brothers and sisters for whom Christ died, and I also keep myself well-versed in the raw materials with which I may actively love them in Christ.
